Job Title: Technical Writer – Fall Intern, 20 / week

Job Statement
Access to oral health care is essential to promoting and maintaining overall health and well-being of an individual yet only half of the population visits a dentist each year. We are seeking an individual who can research this issue and create a publishable paper describing the need to improve access to oral healthcare for all people and the benefits of using handheld dental x-ray technology to help achieve this objective.
Essential Functions
- Review published documentation to understand the issue of oral healthcare and access to care paying particular attention to barriers to care
- Gather and analyze from Aribex, publications, studies, regulations, organizations, and customer experience, the benefits of a handheld x-ray with respects to access to care
- Gain a solid understanding of radiation safety principles, and describe how Aribex products comply
- Write a Review Paper summarizing the above, to be submitted for publication
Minimum Job Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Pre dental, life science, physical science or psychology major
- Have achieved at least a Junior level in an accredited university
- Background and/or interest in radiation protection
- Passed English 316 – Technical Communication, or equivalent
- Have access to a computer to work independently of Aribex
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Research experience
- Technical writing, including publications
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Aribex Headquarter Offices
Reports to: CEO / President
Wage Category: Exempt
Wage: DOE, includes full benefit package
Job Statement
This pivotal strategic position is responsible for assuring new and existing product success by overseeing a collaborative team from all business disciplines, aligning the company’s activities with market-focused product objectives, and taking ownership for all revenue enhancing and cost reduction initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Manage the product through all phases of the product life-cycle, including conception, definition, development, verification/validation, release, post-release, and wind-down activities
- Facilitate 2-way communication with all product team members, which will include persons from Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Regulatory, Technical Collaborators, Finance, etc., through regular meetings and other mediums
- Create, update, and execute on the overall strategic plan for the product, including a clear product road map and accessory development and distribution strategies
- Lead and take joint responsibility for all Product Development activities and the Design Control Process
- Define Customer Documentation Requirements and manage or fulfill technical writing tasks required to produce and maintain those documents
- Compile and maintain the Design History File
- Identify and define country and language-specific localization requirements and ensure timely and effective implementation
Job Requirements
- Four-year Engineering or Business degree, or equivalent engineering, business, and marketing experience
- Three years experience in project management, preferably with at least one electronic product
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, internally and externally, to all levels, in a professional manner
- Have a highly-collaborative leadership style as well as the ability to motivate, inspire and direct
- Demonstrate interpersonal integrity that embraces respect for all associates
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device development and/or production, marketing and sales
- Experience in managing Design Control process to FDA requirements
- Proven conflict resolution skills
