Aribex Receives MWCN “Emerging Elite” Award

OREM, UTAH—24 October 2009—Aribex, Inc., a world leader in handheld x-ray technologies, was named one of the "Emerging Elite" companies by the Mountain West Capital Network (MWCN) at its 14th annual Utah 100 Awards Program held today at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Dr. Clark Turner, Aribex founder and CEO, accepted the award in behalf of his company.

"The companies receiving awards at the 2008 luncheon have displayed the entrepreneurial spirit that is alive and thriving in our business communities,” said Steven Stauffer, Chairman of the Utah 100 Program and an MWCN officer.

Aribex was founded in response to an expressed need for truly portable dental x-ray equipment for humanitarian field-service work. Dr. Turner designed a truly unique cordless, battery-powered, portable / hand-held x-ray instrument to serve as the new leading-platform for portable radiographic imaging.

“We’re proud of the accomplishments of Aribex, and the acceptance we have received in the radiological community,” said Dr. Turner. “We are also proud of this recognition and will continue to grow as we create new products and venture into new markets.”

Utah Governor John Huntsman was on hand to congratulate those recognized.
